Resorts in Negril, Jamaica

Negril is situated in Western Jamaica. It extends from the Negril Lighthouse located at Negril Point in Westmoreland, to Bloody Bay which is in the Parish of Hanover. Its landscape is known for its rare view of dramatic rugged cliffs and miles of inviting pristine white sandy beaches with crystal clear water on the other.

Negril has been called the "Capital of Casual" as it has such a laid back atmosphere; perhaps due to the fact that its first influx of visitors were hippies. While the Negrilians carry out their business efficiently, it is done with as little amount of formality possible.

Negril is considered the ideal place to meet and make friends with Jamaicans. Visitors feel very free during their stay in Negril and can relax completely in this heavenly place. In addition to the stunning beaches and the azure water, Negril has many wonderful restaurants and a very active nightlife. There are also many fun tours offered to various places outside of Negril.

Negril offers a wide selection of high end All-Inclusives. These are all unique and offer such a variety to their guests that you'll want to stay forever. For the days, there are activities galore, including all water sports. For the nights, there are fine restaurants and various nightlife attractions, including dancing in the open air to the custom sounds of Jamaica. These are a few of the recommended all-inclusive resorts in Negril, Jamaica.

The Caves

This resort is located close to Seven Mile Beach, or the "western end". The site is built upon volcanic caves, overlooking the beautiful crystal blue waters of the Caribbean. Designed by Greer-Ann and Bertram Saulter, The Caves is set in a garden on the edge of the sea. It has ten handcrafted cottages set with high-ceilings made of wood and stone and roofed in thatch. It's the perfect for those who value privacy, spirituality, romance and natural beauty. This resort occupies two seafront acres, where you can find little hidden away places like grottos in the cliffs. One of these grottos is actually a candlelit restaurant.
